Dozens of branches of GMC for mourning needs are operated by volunteers, in order to give the bereaved a helping hand that allows him to get through the seven difficult days of mourning with ease.
There are dozens of items for the seven days of mourning such as: benches for comforting, low chairs for the mourner to sit comfortably, books of halacha and meditation on mourning, arrangements according to the style of each denomination, michams for hot drinks, mattresses, movable holy cabinets that can be easily moved from house to house and stored in Torah books.
